Hello and welcome to my coin pages here you will find information about the coins that I collect.

I started to collect coins quite by accident, whilst I was on holiday visiting Holland in January 2003,I found myself at Amsterdam Central Railway station. I was approached by an American Lady who was trying desperately to contact family back in the USA as she had lost all her Banknotes and all she had was a few American Coins, She offered me these coins in exchange for a few Euro's so that she could make her phone call to get some money wired to her. How could I resist a damsel in distress, so now I found myself the owner of these strange coins from a far away land that I had never been to, amongst these coins were two state quarters. I looked around the www. to see what I could find out about these nice coins and so my collecting days had started. From these coins i have now moved on to collect wheaties and mercury dimes, now I collect whatever coins I can lay my hands on.
